Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has mockingly responded to the new rules that manager Erik ten Hag has introduced at the club.
Ten Hag has wasted no time in laying down the laws at his new club as he prepares his team ahead of his first season as the United boss.
Mirror Football last week revealed that the Dutchman has set five new rules that his players have to follow strictly.

The new rules included a ban on alcohol during a match week. Personal chefs are also banned under the Ten Hag tenure. Any players who are late to training or team meetings will be dropped by the Dutchman, and he and his staff will also be keeping a keen eye on his players’ weight and is to introduce a weekly BMI check in order to make sure they are in the best shape possible.
The final rule is the biggest change of all, players will now have to speak to Ten Hag himself about any grievances and his players are not permitted to talk to their agents or other sources when they are unhappy about anything.
The new boss is looking to implement a new regime that will help his project become successful as soon as possible.

Since the news broke, there has been many reactions from fans and former players. And now, club legend Scholes has had his say on the matter.
He posted on his official Instagram account a sarcastic response.
Scholes posted a shrugging emotion with a message that read: “Not sure I would’ve coped without my personal chef and no agent to moan to.”
The former midfielder is not shy to express his opinions, he has criticised the United players’ performances and behaviour off the pitch over the last few seasons.
Ten Hag is tasked with bringing success back to Old Trafford after a dismal 21/22 season that saw United collect the club’s lowest ever Premier League points tally, as a result, they finished sixth and failed to qualify for the Champions League.

The new manager has made it clear that he would need reinforcements but the club have only delivered one new signing so far, in the shape of defender Tyrell Malacia.
Christian Eriksen is close to become United’s second summer addition whilst discussions continue to take place between the club and Barcelona for a transfer including Frenkie de Jong.
United are also said to be interested in Ajax duo Lisandro Martinez and Antony.
