Mohamed Salah signed for Liverpool from Roma in 2017 for an initial fee of £34.3m - but what became of some of the other players that signed for club that summer?
Salah, 32, joined the club just one week after his 25th birthday having enjoyed a successful time in Serie A with Fiorentina and Roma.
And he'd already played in the Premier League, having endured a difficult spell at Chelsea.

The Egyptian made just 19 appearances in all competitions at Stamford Bridge, but has since become a Liverpool legend.
During his time at Anfield, he has won everything in the English domestic game.
This included Liverpool’s first top-flight title in 30 years when they won the 2020 Premier League, not to mention a goal in their 2-0 Champions League final win over Spurs in 2019.
Salah’s signing was part of Jurgen Klopp’s rebuild at Anfield, but what happened the three other players brought in that summer?
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - £35m
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 31, had scored 20 goals in 198 appearances for Arsenal, playing in the Gunners side that beat Chelsea 2-1 in the 2017 FA Cup Final, before Klopp brought him to Merseyside.

However, injuries were an issue during his six years at Anfield. He ended up making 146 appearances for the Reds, scoring 18 goals, before leaving for Turkish outfit Besiktas at the end of his contract - where he still plays.

Dominic Solanke - free transfer
Solanke, 27, was still a teenager when he left Chelsea to move to Merseyside.

In the end, this very much felt like the move came too soon in his career for the striker to flourish at Anfield.
During the two years he was at Liverpool, Solanke scored one goal in 21 appearances - that came in a 4-0 win over Brighton.
Solanke left to properly establish himself at Bournemouth, where he found form registering 77 goals and 29 assists for the Cherries, before he signed for Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of £65m in the summer of 2024.

Andrew Robertson – £7.7m
There was little fanfare when Liverpool paid under £8m for this then-23-year-old full-back from Hull City. The Scot has gone on to become one of the club’s best-ever signings, making the left-back position his own and winning everything in the game in the process. Like Salah, Robertson has become a Liverpool legend and will always be held in high regard on the red side of Merseyside. He will soon be a two-time Premier League winner.
