Lionel Messi’s inconsistent goalscoring form at Paris Saint-Germain has been blamed on Kylian Mbappe after a fan ‘exposed’ that the Barcelona legend is not the problem.
The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner shocked the world last summer with his sensational exit from Barcelona after a remarkable playing career at the Camp Nou.
Messi was snapped up by PSG on a free transfer, with the Argentine ace reportedly earning an eye-watering £960,000 per week after inking a lucrative contract.

However, the 34-year-old PSG forward has struggled to replicate his scintillating Barcelona form at the Parc des Princes.
Messi, who is under contract until 2023, has only scored twice in 15 Ligue 1 appearances and registered nine assists.

Messi’s form and lack of impact at the Parisian-based club have been brought into question in recent weeks, with fans claiming that he is a “finished” player.
One fan has now produced a compilation to staunchly defend Messi’s lack of attacking input at PSG.
Footage from the compilation shows Messi excelling as a playmaker and playing through sublime balls to Mbappe, only for his PSG teammate to fail in the final third.

“People said Messi wouldn’t make it without Xavi and [Andres] Iniesta. Without them he became them,” one fan tweeted.
Another added: “This is the ‘finished Messi’ at PSG. I want someone to post a video of a player having a better performance than Messi. I'm waiting.”
“Mbappe missing a lot of easy chances,” a third commented.

Someone else posted: “Damn, Mbappe is hella wasteful.”
While a fifth wrote: “Messi is so much more than stats, even [though] his career stats are insane [but] it doesn’t do him justice. I really hope we get to see another player like him but I highly doubt it.”

The 23-year-old French superstar has scored 12 times in the league this season and is two shy of Ligue 1 top scorer Wissam Ben Yedder.
Mbappe, who has also registered nine assists in Ligue 1, scored the crucial winner for PSG in their first-leg round-of-16 clash against Real Madrid last week.
Messi’s penalty was saved by Thibaut Courtois in the second half, but Mbappe stepped up late in injury time to seal a stunning 1-0 win at the Parc des Princes.
