Ten Hag then criticised the Englishman’s training performances before Sancho hit back with a statement of his own.
It was then reported that Sancho had refused to apologise to the Dutchman, which cast his United future in major doubt.
Eventually, the winger was completely ‘exiled’ from the club's training facilities.
During the January transfer window, Sancho returned to Germany and has since managed three goals and three assists in 20 appearances across all competitions.
