Chelsea fans have already made their minds up about star signing Estevao after watching his debut against Bayer Leverkusen.
After a busy summer at the Club World Cup, Chelsea finally returned to the pitch for their first pre-season friendly against Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen at Stamford Bridge on Friday evening.
A shock win over Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Club World Cup last month meant that Enzo Maresca allowed his side to enjoy some time off ahead of the 2025/26 season.
But, this means that the Chelsea squad will only have the match against Leverkusen and Sunday's friendly against AC Milan to prepare for their Premier League opener against Crystal Palace next weekend.

This has created worry among fans hoping to let the club's new signings fully integrate into the Chelsea team, but after seeing new winger Estevao's debut they've already made their mind up on his potential.

Despite agreeing to join Chelsea as part of a £29million deal that was agreed in May 2024, Estevao only joined Chelsea this month after he represented club Palmeiras at the Club World Cup this summer.
And it's safe to say that he's impressed in his first match for the London club, as he opened the scoring just 18 minutes into his debut.

Reacting to his performance on X, one Chelsea fan wrote: "Estevao has scored on his debut!! A star is born!"
While another wrote: "Estevão needed just 18 minutes to score on his Chelsea debut and celebrated with a badge kiss. Premier League, you’ve been warned."
While one hit out at former winger Noni Madueke, joking: "Palmer went from Madookie slip and slide to Estevao joga bonito as his running mate."

During the Club World Cup, the 18-year-old featured in all five of the Sao Paulo club's matches in the competition, scoring a goal against his future club as Chelsea beat Palmeiras 2-1 to reach the semi-finals.
But with fellow new signing Jamie Gittens, who joined in £51.5m deal from Borussia Dortmund, also impressing and reports suggesting that a deal could completed for Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho, Estevao's role at Chelsea remains to be seen
