Joe Rogan commented 'how weird' live on air at UFC 313 after spotting a detail that has never been seen before.
UFC 313 saw Alex Pereira surrender the UFC light-heavyweight title to Magomed Ankalaev, who scored a unanimous decision victory in Las Vegas.
In the co-main event, Justin Gaethje outpointed Rafael Fiziev in a Fight of the Night battle.
Gaethje and Fiziev went to war in a repeat of their 2023 thriller after the Azerbaijan fighter took the clash on short notice following the withdrawal of Dan Hooker.

But moments before their bout started, Gaethje could be seen wearing MMA gloves without the customary UFC logo.
Jon Anik took a moment to explain the situation, which perplexed Rogan.
"I know my UFC broadcast partners were wondering why that UFC logo was not on the gloves of Justin Gaethje," said Anik during the broadcast of UFC 313. "It rubbed off during warm-ups.
"Hunter Campbell came over and told me that he chose to keep these gloves on. I guess they felt good.

"Those are the exact same gloves that Rafael Fiziev is wearing, but the UFC logo is no more.”
Rogan added: "How weird.”

Gaethje fought 15 minutes without the UFC logo on his gloves as he returned to the win column following his crushing defeat to Max Holloway at UFC 300 last year.

Speaking in his post-match press conference, 'The Highlight' explained the situation behind his gloves.
"They started coming off in the back. So, they wanted to make sure some of the flakes weren't going in my eyes or his eyes, so they took 'em off with tape," he revealed. "They wanted me to change them. I was like, 'Hell no... I got 'em on. I already broke 'em in. There's no way I'm switching to fresh gloves'."
No.3 ranked UFC lightweight Gaethje put himself back in the mix for title contention following his victory over Fiziev.
He hasn't competed for UFC gold since his defeat to Charles Oliveira at UFC 274 in May 2022.
