Alex Pereira fires back at ex-girlfriend after seeing what she did following his UFC 313 defeat to Magomed Ankalaev

Alex Pereira's ex-girlfriend made her feelings clear following his defeat at UFC 313.

Alex Pereira has fired back at his ex-girlfriend after she celebrated his stunning defeat at UFC 313.

Magomed Ankalaev scored a huge win to dethrone Pereira of the UFC light-heavyweight championship in the main-event of UFC 313 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dagestan's Ankalaev beat Pereira by unanimous decision as he triumphed 48-47, 48-47 and 49-46 on the judges' scorecards, with Ariel Helwani making a huge claim following the result.

After Ankalaev was announced as the new UFC light-heavyweight champion, Pereira's ex-girlfriend, Christine, took to social media to share a video of her celebrating the Brazilian's crushing defeat.

She congratulated the Russian star before going on a rant against 'Poatan'.

"No more chama. Karma. He lost on International Women’s Day," she said.

"This guy won, and actually he got this title shot very late, right? So, I think we should give him some props. Even if we don’t like him or don’t like his fighting style, we should give him some props. No more chama."

Well, Christine's social media post didn't go unnoticed as Pereira issued a response as he aimed a dig at her.

On Instagram, he wrote: "I think she should stop mentioning my name cause her husband might get jealous, chama."

Pereira had won five UFC bouts in a row before succumbing to Ankalaev.

Speaking after the second defeat of his legendary UFC career, the 37-year-old told his fans: "Going to rest a bit, but I'll be back like I've always done. This has already happened, but I'm good. I'm grateful for all of your support, for all of your love, always supporting me. I'm receiving so many messages of encouragement. I'm here with my people, my family, my team, my children... everyone's here!

"Everyone's here with me, we're going to have some pizza. That's that. Life continues. Thank you to everyone. Thank you to my team. I'm going to make some adjustments for the rematch and I'll be much better... you can count on it! All good everyone, never give up on your dreams. Chama."
