Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the signing of Harry Kane is still an 'obsession' for Manchester United this summer, despite links to Rasmus Hojlund and Victor Osimhen.
Tottenham star Kane has one year left on his current contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, although doing a deal with the north London club will be a challenge.
The Telegraph claimed in April that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will demand at least £100 million to sell the 29-year-old to another English club.

And according to The Athletic, that fee would take up United's entire initial summer transfer budget, which is also reported to stand at £100 million before player sales.
But it has been reported by the Daily Mirror that Kane wants to stay in the Premier League should he leave Tottenham, which may force his current club's hand in terms of driving the asking price down.
The forward is 48 goals away from breaking the all-time Premier League goal record set by Alan Shearer, and could achieve the feat at United should he join the club this summer.

In recent days, Erik ten Hag's side have been linked with alternative options, including Atalanta starlet Rasmus Hojlund. The Manchester Evening News claim that the Dutchman has held video calls with the 20-year-old forward to discuss a potential move to Old Trafford, while the club remain interested in Napoli star Victor Osimhen.
Now, Romano has given an update on United's striker search.
Romano on Kane
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano explained: "At the moment, we know [United's] priority, their obsession, remains Harry Kane.

"They also have Victor Osimhen on their list. Also, we know that the dominos of strikers are still to start. It will take some time. There is not even a bid or negotiation with Atalanta [for Hojlund] but Manchester United are informed on the conditions. Atalanta will not accept less than €60 million.
"Atalanta will try to fight to keep the player for one more season, but my understanding is that, on the player's side, he would be prepared to leave in case an important proposal arrives.
"Erik ten Hag clearly appreciates the player. Then, let's see if they will decide to negotiate for Hojlund or if they will just keep his name in the list as they are doing at the moment."
