Borussia Dortmund full-back Thomas Meunier could join Manchester United, but only under one condition, according to a report.
After dramatic early season defeats to Brighton and Brentford, Erik ten Hag had led a resurgent United side to fifth in the table, just three points from Tottenham in the Champions League spots.
However, with the likes of Diogo Dalot out of contract next summer, and Cristiano Ronaldo's acrimonious departure from the club confirmed last month, United are likely to dip into the transfer window in January and in the summer.

At right-back in particular ten Hag wants more cover, with Dalot’s understudy Aaron Wan-Bissaka having played just four minutes of first-team football this season. The former Crystal Palace man is likely to move on in the January transfer window.
In turn, Meunier has been linked, though the Belgium international would only join the Old Trafford club on one condition.
Meunier to Man Utd?
Mundo Deportivo claims that United are among a host of clubs interested in Meunier, but the Belgian international will only consider a move to Old Trafford if Barcelona do not come calling.

AC Milan, Juventus and unnamed two London clubs are also said to be interested in his signature, but the 31-year-old would prefer a move to the Catalan giants.
Meunier has played for Dortmund since 2020 having joined the club on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
But with his Dortmund contract expiring in 2024 the player could be available on a cut-price deal next summer, with the Bundesliga not wanting to lose the player for free.
Mundo Deportivo claims Barcelona are in pole position to sign Meunier, with the player having even spoken to the Blaugrana last winter. At the time he was said to be unhappy with the money offered at the time.
