Ruben Amorim was pressed by a journalist on Wolves star Matheus Cunha amid links suggesting Manchester United could make a move for the attacker this summer.
United are in the midst of their worst ever Premier League campaign, sitting 14th in the table before this weekend's round of action with only a handful of matches still to be played.
The Old Trafford club's season remains alive however thanks to booking a place in the Europa League semi-final following a remarkable comeback 5-4 victory over Lyon that will go down as one of the most memorable games in the club's storied history.
United will face Athletic Bilbao in the semi-final stage, but for now, United's attention will turn back to the Premier League.

Amorim's side face Wolves this Sunday at Old Trafford, a side three points behind United in the top flight standings.
The first name on the Wolves teamsheet will undoubtedly be Cunha, who has scored 16 goals in 30 matches across all competitions and has been a big factor behind the Molineux side surviving relegation this campaign.
Amorim is full of admiration for his countryman Vitor Pereira who is in charge of Wolves and is under no illusions of the challenge facing United this weekend in their quest for three points.

In his pre-match press conference, Amorim said: "I think he's doing an amazing job.
"He's playing a 3-4-3, he's doing quite well! He's changing some players, he has real quality players - Cunha and all these guys, they have real quality. They are fresh.
"So we know it's going to be a tough match and we are going to need a lot from our supporters. I know it is a bad thing to ask anything this season from our fans but we need them on Sunday."
Cunha penned a new deal with Wolves in January, but it is reported to have a release clause of £62.5m inserted and United have been linked with a move for the 25-year-old Brazil international this summer.

After mentioning Cunha specifically in his answer when talking about Wolves, Amorim was pressed by a journalist about the player and potential interest from United, but the Old Trafford boss made it clear he only mentioned him due to the amount of goals he has scored.
He said: "I just gave the example because I remembered about Matheus. He's scoring a lot of goals. Just that."
Cunha moved to Wolves in January 2023 from Atletico Madrid, initially on loan, before the move was made permanent that summer, and he has gone on to score 32 goals in 86 appearances across all competitions across nearly two-and-a-half seasons in the West Midlands.
