Manchester City star Erling Haaland failed to convert from 12 yards after a controversial handball decision was given during their Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
During last week’s first-leg tie at the Etihad Stadium, City were in fine form as they well and truly took Bayern to the cleaners.
A stunner from Rodri gave Pep Guardiola’s side the lead in the first half.

In the second half, goals from Bernardo Silva and Haaland in the space of six minutes made it 3-0.
On Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena, Bayern knew they needed a miracle if they are to overturn the deficit against a rampant City side.
After a cagey start, City were given a huge chance to put the tie beyond Bayern's reach.

In the 34th minute, Ilkay Gundogan’s shot took a slight deflection off Dayot Upamecano and Bayern goalkeeper Yann Sommer made a good save.
The referee then pointed to the penalty spot for handball, which surprised many people within the Allianz Arena.
Replays showed that the ball took the slightest deflection off the defender's arm.
However, Haaland of all people failed to convert from 12 yards as he blazed the ball over the bar.
Fans were quick to react on social media. With some fans even suggesting that Haaland missed the penalty on purpose as he didn’t think it was the correct decision.
