Real Madrid forward Vini Jr has sent Arsenal an ominous message ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Vinicius Jr, 24, failed to make a positive impact in the first leg and saw his side fall to a 3-0 defeat thanks to two free-kicks from Declan Rice and a smart finish from Mikel Merino.
After last week’s game, the Brazilian posted a message to his Instagram which read: “No excuses. Bad game. We must improve and fight at the Bernabéu.

“Magic things already happened at our home… and we can do it again.”
And despite it being highly unlikely that Los Blancos turn around a three-goal deficit if any side can it is the 15-time Champions League winners.
Speaking in a press conference on Tuesday, Jude Bellingham explained how there’s “an expectation” of Real Madrid to come back.

"There wasn't one aspect of our game in the first leg that was up to the standard we expect of ourselves,” said Bellingham.
"We know we can play a lot better and that's what we want to show.”
"I think there's an expectation of Real Madrid that when we get in these holes we can come back,” he added.
"In England, it's not as common but it does happen. The club have done it so many times, so the expectations are huge."

"I've heard it a million times since last week, I've seen a million videos - it's really motivating stuff," the England international continued.
"It's a night that's made for Real Madrid.
"A night that would go down in history but also something that people are familiar with around this part of this world.

"Hopefully we can add another special night."
On Tuesday evening, Vini Jr posted a message of his own to his Instagram account which sports 52.9m followers.
"Manana. 9pm," the Brazilian posted to his story which translates as "Tomorrow. 9pm".
The Spanish side have been granted a special request ahead of tonight's match, with both UEFA and Real confirming to SPORTbible that the La Liga club have been given approval to close the roof of the Santiago Bernabeu.
