Bayern Munich will be banned from wearing their red home kit if they reach the Champions League final this season.
The Bavarian side took on Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in the round of 16 first leg and picked up a comfortable 3-0 victory against Xabi Alonso's side, who had Nordi Mukiele sent off.
Harry Kane bagged a brace either side of a strike from Jamal Musiala to give Vincent Kompany's side one foot in the Champions League quarter-finals going into the second leg next week.
Bayern are looking to be crowned champions of Europe for the seventh time and could do so at their home stadium at the Allianz Arena, which hosts the final as it did when they were beaten by Chelsea on penalties in 2012.

However, Bayern will not be allowed to wear their traditional colours if they do go on to reach the final.
As reported by the Daily Mail and a number of other outlets, the 33-time German champions have been banned from wearing their home kit in the Champions League by UEFA.
Though they have been wearing it as normal in the Bundesliga, it's claimed that the shirt's dark numbers on the jersey "do not offer enough contrast for viewers".
Violating visibility regulations, it's been claimed that UEFA have asked Bayern to change their numbers and font to white in order to abide by the rules.

However, the club have not yet done so in the Champions League and have instead worn their beige retro shirts at home, in addition to their black away kit when on the road.
Bayern's path to the final on home soil
If they see out the second leg against Leverkusen without any issues, Bayern will play the winner of Feyenoord and Inter Milan in the quarter-finals. Inter currently lead 2-0 from the first leg in Rotterdam.

Possible opponents in the semi-final include Barcelona, Benfica, Borussia Dortmund and Lille.
Bayern cannot play Real Madrid, Arsenal, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa until the final as they are all on the opposite side of the bracket.
Bayern's last Champions League triumph came in 2020 when they beat PSG 1-0 in the rearranged final in Lisbon thanks to a winner from Kingsley Coman.
