Richard Keys has suggested that Liverpool owners FSG will sell Mohamed Salah next summer for £60 million.
Salah put pen to paper on a new lucrative contract worth £350,000 a week on Friday, tying him down at Anfield until the summer of 2025.
The Egypt international’s deal was set to expire in the next 12 months, but the Reds opted to keep him on Merseyside and break their previously stringent wage structure.

Despite this 3-year commitment, former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys doesn’t believe Salah will remain in the North West for the long-term.
Keys tweeted: “The new deal is obviously great news- but do we think Salah will be at Anfield for its duration?
"Or will he be on his way for £60 million a year from now- the gross value of the contract?"
“That’s better than him walking for nothing.”

There are rumours circulating regardless of the new deal that Liverpool will be willing to listen to offers for their starman next summer.
However, as Keys said, his value is now protected and he won’t be going on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old won last season’s Premier League golden boot alongside Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min, scoring 23 goals and has netted 156 times across 254 appearances for Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp and the decision makers at Anfield deemed this prolific goal scoring too important to lose in this window and thus offered the new deal.

Now this situation has been dealt with, Klopp may turn his attention to offloading more players as he looks to reduce the size of his bloated squad.
The likes of Sadio Mane, Origi and Takumi Minamino have already left Merseyside, while Neco Williams, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita could all also depart this summer.
After signing Darwin Nunez, Calvin Ramsay and Fabio Carvalho already in this window, no further incomings are expected at Anfield.
However, the planning for next summer has already begun, as Klopp will be looking to bolster his ageing midfield.

The likes of Jude Bellingham and Nicolo Barella have already been linked with moves to the North West.
