Marcus Rashford's feelings towards Erik ten Hag's sacking and the rumoured appointment of Ruben Amorim as Manchester United manager have been revealed.
Following a disappointing 2-1 loss to West Ham United in the Premier League, United confirmed that they had sacked former manager Ten Hag in an official statement on Monday afternoon.
Immediately after Ten Hag's dismissal was confirmed, rumours began circulating about who would succeed him in the United dugout, with Sporting CP manager Amorim the clear favourite for the job.

And now, with the appointment of Amorim potentially just hours away, the reactions of United's star forward Rashford to both Ten Hag's departure and Amorim's imminent arrival have been revealed.
According to TEAMtalk, the 27-year-old is ‘very happy’ that Ten Hag has left the club and is excited about the upcoming appointment of Amorim as the new United boss.
Under the Portuguese manager, Rashford reportedly believes that he can help get his career firmly back on track and return to the highs he set in the 2022/23 season, where he scored 30 goals in 56 appearances across all competitions.

Furthermore, Rashford is said to believe that the change in leadership will not only help him advance his career, but it will also benefit the whole squad.
The report claims that, while a lot of the United dressing room were sad to see Ten Hag lose his job, they also accepted that is was the correct decision given the start to the 2024/25 season.
So far this season, United have won just three of their nine Premier League matches, leaving them 14th in the table with just 11 points.
And for Rashford, despite enjoying a strong relationship at the start of Ten Hag's time at Old Trafford, disagreements over the last few months led to their relationship breaking down, perhaps explaining the winger's recent disappointing form.

The Englishman has made 15 appearances for the Red Devils so far this season, but has scored just four goals in this time, with only one coming in the Premier League.
Following United's 5-2 win over Leicester City in the Carabao Cup, Rashford's teammate Diogo Dalot offered further insight into the dressing room's feelings towards Amorim.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Dalot said: "I mean obviously he's a good manager. We don't know if he's coming or not, we see the rumours like everybody. We will just focus on what we have here and doing our job."
