The feud between Jamie Carragher and Rio Ferdinand has taken another twist after Carragher was filmed taking a dig at the former United defender whilst off-air at the CBS Studios.
The feud made its way into the media last year when Carragher called his former England teammate a clown, like on-air with CBS.
"I think anyone out there who is watching the replay and seeing what VAR do and still believe that is a penalty, they must be a clown,”

“But as a defender, we have to stick together, don't we? And I just felt people were getting a little bit carried away.”
At this point, Carragher’s fellow pundit Micah Richards said: “Name names.”
Carragher said: “Rio Ferdinand. I'm happy to call him a clown!”

The pair both cover the Champions League for respective broadcasters, with Ferdinand working for TNT whilst Carragher is part of the CBS panel which includes Micah Richards, Thierry Henry, and Kate Abdo.
During last night's broadcast Carragher's co-pundit Micah Richards sneakily filmed a debate surrounding all-time defenders whilst the show was off-air.
"Rio, JT, Sol Campbell, Tony Adams?" Richards asked the former Liverpool defender.

"JT can play alongside him, I'll have that he'll be next on my list," Carragher replied.
Micah then pressed Carragher on the player we all wanted him to mention.
"What about Rio, What about your mate?" Richards chuckled.
Rio is widely considered one of the best defenders in Premier League history and is perfectly within his right to be in the conversation, but Carragher took the opportunity to throw more shade at Ferdinand.

"Rio? He's a poor man's Virgil Van Dijk," Carragher claimed.
Whilst Virgil Van Dijk isn't the worst player you can be compared to, the slightly abrasive comment continues to fuel the ongoing feud between the pair.
