Jamie Carragher made a risky joke on CBS Sports that may just land him in hot water with Sky Sports.
The Liverpool legend was again on CBS Sports' Golazo programme for Champions League coverage on Wednesday night, alongside Thierry Henry, Micah Richards and Kate Scott.
The show is renowned for being utterly chaotic and the trend continued on Wednesday. Henry stunned the entire panel when he told Scott to "stay in her lane" in a light-hearted remark, but while Carragher also took an unexpected call live on air.
His daughter Mia rang the pundit, wanting to know where her mother Nicola was.
"She wants to know where her mum is," Carragher explained.
"I don't know. I'm in London babe, in the studio. I don't know. Do you want to go on loudspeaker live on CBS?"
Mia was then asked questions by both Richards and Scott and revealed she "didn't have a clue" that her dad was live and was not watching.
That led to Carragher asking her, “Are you not putting the dodgy box on?” - which left Richards in fits of laughter as he slapped the desk in hilarity.
Though the viral clips are uploaded online so that fans in the UK can see what they get up to, CBS Sports is only available in the United States.
That is of course unless somebody has access to a jailbroken Amazon Fire Stick or IPTV box which is often loaded with various streams from different countries - which Carragher clearly referencing.
Carragher has brought up 'dodgy boxes' before on CBS Sports
The 57-year-old appeared to catch Harry Kane out during an interview last season when he thanked Henry for praise he gave him on an episode of Sky Sports' Monday Night Football.
Given he is in Germany, Richards asked how he was able to watch the programme - to which he replied "Don't worry!".
That prompted Carragher to exclaim, "Harry's got a dodgy box!".
There was also an instance where Carragher read out a text from his mum saying she enjoyed his punditry, leading to Scott asked if she has "got a dodgy box?”.
Carragher backtracked and said that the message was "a few weeks ago" and referring to a Sky Sports appearance.
