Liverpool lead Greuther Furth 1-0 at half-time in their second pre-season friendly of the summer. Here is how we rated the players.
The Reds were without new signing Dominik Szoboszlai for the match after he rolled his ankle in training. Liverpool confirmed his absence was a precaution due to a 'minor knock'.
He was replaced in midfield by Cody Gakpo, with the Dutchman joined by Alexis Mac Allister and Trent Alexander-Arnold as part of a three-man central midfield.

It was Luis Diaz that opened the scoring. He received the ball on the edge of the box, before shifting it on to his right foot and curling it into the bottom corner.
The Colombian was one of the star players on the pitch in the first half. Here is how we rated the other Liverpool players.
Alisson Becker - 6
Advert
A relatively quiet half for the Brazilian shot-stopper in his first taste of pre-season action this summer. Solid distribution.
Conor Bradley - 6
Consistently looked to join up with attacks and aggressive in his defending, as well as moving into midfield on occasion. Positioning could become an issue against higher quality opposition if he is caught up the pitch.
Ibrahima Konate - 5
Advert
Conceded a free kick on 25 minutes that Furth could not take advantage of. A solid half otherwise.
Virgil van Dijk - 6
Liverpool's captain for the day carried out his defensive duties well against physical opposition.
Andy Robertson - 5
Advert
Gave away a clumsy foul on the halfway line which would have received a yellow card in a competitive match. Gave the ball away on a couple of occasions.
Trent Alexander-Arnold - 6
The focal point for some of Liverpool's attacks and connected well with the front three. Operated in a slightly deeper role to Mac Allister and Gakpo.
Alexis Mac Allister - 6
Advert
Another tidy display from one of Liverpool's two newest signings. Showed his physicality in midfield.
Cody Gakpo - 7
Good tempo and energy from the Dutchman, who saw an effort deflected over the crossbar on 30 minutes.
Ben Doak - 8
It may only be a pre-season friendly but the young Scot looks the part already. Direct, full of running and a good partnership down the right with Bradley.
Luis Diaz - 8
Caused the Furth defence plenty of problems and took his goal nicely into the bottom corner.
Diogo Jota - 6
Almost telepathic communication with both Gakpo and Diaz with quick one-twos. Missed a relatively easy chance midway through the half, then struck the post with an off-balance effort from a tight angle.
