A former Sky Sports commentator has hit out at the broadcaster for their coverage of Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Brentford at the weekend.
Liverpool continued to impress under new manager Arne Slot, who claimed his first Premier League victory at Anfield on Sunday.
Goals from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah secured the win for the Reds, beating Brentford 2-0 in the second game of the 2024/25 season.

The match was broadcast live on Sky Sports, but one former commentator has spoken out against Sky, criticising their coverage of the game.
Commenting on the coverage on social media platform X, former Sky commentator Bryn Law wrote: "Sky’s coverage of this Liverpool v Brentford game is basically LFCTV - ex players as co-comm & studio guest, LFC associated presenter.
"Could they not have at least found an ex-Brentford player as a 2nd studio guest? The pretence of broadcaster’s neutrality a thing of the past?"

Kelly Cates, daughter of Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish, was Sky's presenter for the match alongside Jamie Redknapp and Jamie Carragher, who was on co-commentary duties with Peter Drury.
Former midfielder Redknapp played for the Reds from 1991 to 2002, making over 300 appearances for the club, winning the FA and League Cups.
Whereas Carragher is somewhat of an icon for the club, having won the historic 2005 Champions League during his 737 appearances in 17 years with Liverpool.
The only other guest during the broadcast was ex-Everton and Manchester City Women player Izzy Christiansen, meaning Brentford were not represented during Sky's coverage.

This led to Law, who now works for Leeds United's LUTV, suggesting that 'smaller clubs' be given their own coverage for matches against clubs like Liverpool.
He wrote : "They should let ‘the little club’ do their own red button coverage then they could go full ‘big club’ with impunity."
After the match, the talking point for Liverpool fans has been the reaction of right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold when he was substituted off in the 72nd minute for Conor Bradley.

Speaking about the incident after the match, manager Slot said: "Every player wants to play 90 minutes. But I don't think the players that were on the bench from the start were really happy with the choice I made.
"We have to take care of him, because we need him for the whole season and not just the first two games."
