Liverpool boss Arne Slot has picked out one player who he thinks is a more logical fit as a striker than Darwin Nunez.
It has been a fine start for life as Liverpool boss for Dutchman Slot as his side currently sit second in the Premier League table.
In addition, the Reds have made a perfect start in the Champions League, winning against AC Milan, Bologna and RB Leipzig.

On Wednesday night, Liverpool will take on Brighton and Hove Albion hoping to secure a place in the last eight of the Carabao Cup.
Speaking ahead of the match, Slot has revealed the shock player who he feels is a more logical no.9 than Nunez.
He said: “It is a pity that (Diogo) Jota is not available.

“And (Federico) Chiesa is also not available as they were, in my opinion, the most logical No 9s but we still have other options.”
Federico Chiesa joined Liverpool from Juventus in the summer but has only managed to make one start for the Reds so far and he is currently out of action due to injury. Meanwhile, Uruguayan Nunez has so far made 10 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring two goals and assisting two.
Speaking about Nunez, Slot added: “About Darwin, I gave him credit for the fact he worked so hard in previous weeks when he didn’t play a lot to be able to play three games in a row.
“Three games in eight days, so that says a lot about him. But it also says a lot about the quality of our performance staff and medical staff that we were able to give him the right sessions to prepare him in the right way.”

He continued: “You always need the player to buy in because you can give him the right sessions but if he doesn’t give everything then it is very difficult for him to do what he did.
“It was a good thing his ban for the Uruguay team was cancelled so he could play. That has probably really helped him to play the way that he did in the last three games. I’m not talking about the quality he played with, but the intensity he played with. The quality was also good — so that was a positive thing.”
Nunez was able to play for his country during the international break after his initial five-match ban was revoked.
