Liverpool have requested urgent talks with Darwin Nunez ahead of his first meeting with Arne Slot.
Arne Slot has begun his first pre-season with Liverpool, officially marking the start of a new era at Anfield.
Replacing Jurgen Klopp is not going to be easy, but Liverpool are confident that the Dutchman is the right man to continue the work done by his predecessor.

Unfortunately for Slot, Darwin Nunez might have just caused him a significant headache.
On Wednesday evening Colombia beat Uruguay 1-0 to advance to the final of the 2024 Copa America, but the match was marred by the ugly scenes that followed the final whistle.
Relatives of the Uruguay players were reportedly stormed by Colombian fans in the stand, prompting Uruguay's stars to enter the stand and engage in a mass brawl.

Nunez was at the centre of the brawl, with footage emerging of him throwing punches and being hit himself.
Footage also surfaced showing Nunez comforting his infant son on the pitch.
Liverpool now want to hold urgent talks with their striker, amid concerns that CONMEBOL, the South American Confederation, could hit him with a suspension that could be extended to club football by FIFA.
According to ESPN, Liverpool's football leadership team will make contact with Nunez as soon as possible in order to check on the welfare of him and his family and to get a clearer picture of what happened.

Liverpool also plan to speak to the Uruguay Football Federation before deciding on any potential action or statement about the situation.
Liverpool will step up their pre-season preparations with a tour in the Unites States later this month, although Nunez was never expected to take part due to his involvement in the Copa America.
Liverpool will begin their Premier League campaign with a trip to Ipswich on August 17.
