CM Punk went off-script with Hulk Hogan comment after WWE legend was relentlessly booed during RAW Netflix debut

CM Punk made a Hulk Hogan comment two weeks after he was booed on Raw's debut on Netflix.

WWE superstar CM Punk went off-script with a comment about a Hulk Hogan weeks after he was booed out of the building on the debut episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.

Hogan appeared on the inaugural episode of WWE's flagship show at the Intuit Dome for a stacked first show which featured a slew of big names and legends, including The Rock, John Cena, The Undertaker and rapper Travis Scott, who made an entrance through the crowd with Jey Uso.

Hogan, a six-time WWE champion, also made an appearance alongside former manager Jimmy Hart and promoted his new 'Real American Beer', which has its logo gracing the mat after agreeing a lucrative partnership.

But when he made his entrance, Hogan, one of the biggest stars in wrestling history, was loudly booed by fans in attendance.

Fans said the 71-year-old, real name Terry Bollea, looked "uncomfortable" and "shaken" - with WWE legend Mark Henry weighing in with his view that Hogan "never wanted to go forward and fix it" after being blacklisted when a video of him using a racist slur emerged.

WWE did not reference the reception Hogan got in an official capacity and there are rumours that he will be present at the Royal Rumble in some capacity.

But on the latest episode of Raw, CM Punk had a dig at the Hulkster in a passionate promo where he berated several of his opponents in the upcoming Royal Rumble.

He was met with huge cheers when he blasted Hogan, telling interviewer Jackie Redmond: "You put Hulk Hogan in the Royal Rumble, I'll throw his dusty ass over the top rope and I'll kill Hulkamania once and for all".

It's since been confirmed by Fightful that the line was not part of the script for Punk's segment but there was no backstage heat on the Second City Saint as people found it funny.

After an old video showed him using the n-word to describe his daughter dating a black man, Hogan's contract was terminated, with WWE saying they were "committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds".

Hogan, who has been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump's at his rallies was reinstated in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 upon apologising and has continued to make sporadic appearances since then.
