Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson reportedly has an extra clause inserted into the deals for all of his action movies.
The former WWE star, now turned Hollywood actor, is one of the stars of Moana 2, which premiered in London this week.
It’s just the latest in a long list of successful Hollywood films for the Rock, who includes starring roles in The Fast and Furious franchise, Empire State, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Rampage and Skyscraper on his acting CV.

He often plays the ‘tough guy’ character who comes off well in the fight scenes.
And reportedly, it’s written in to his contracts that his characters can never lose.
According to the Wall Street Journal, 'Mr. Johnson enlists producers, editors and fight coordinators to help make sure he always gives as good as he gets.' That included changing a script in The Fate of the Furious so he was sitting up, rather than lying down, after a fight to give a better impression of his performance.

Vin Diesel and Jason Statham, both stars of the Fast and Furious films, also reportedly have similar clauses inserted into their contracts – with Statham’s apparently detailing how badly he can be beaten up on screen.
And according to a TikTok video by Charles Peralo, the Rock still has the clause saying his onscreen character can't come off second best.
The Rock has had a starring role in both Hollywood and the wrestling ring in 2024.

He returned to WWE before WrestleMania 40, and was involved in the Undisputed World Championship programme involving Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
He has hinted at a return to face off against Rhodes once his Hollywood commitments have come to a close. As well as promoting Moana 2, that includes filming a starring role in 'The Smashing Machine', a film which tells the story of legendary MMA fighter Mark Kerr. It is slated for release in 2025.
Johnson is set to play Kerr, and pictures show he transformed to play the part.
