WWE fans are convinced commentator accidentally 'leaked' result of huge match at Wrestlemania

Wrestlemania 41 is set to take place on April 19-20 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fans think a WWE commentator ‘leaked’ the result of a huge match ahead of WrestleMania 41.

Wrestlemania 41 will get underway on April 19 and conclude on April 20 with Netflix providing coverage for countries outside of the U.S.

Aside from the Undisputed Championship match between Cody Rhodes and John Cena, WWE fans are eagerly anticipating the clash between Gunther and Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship with the Austrian currently holding the belt.

The champ admitted that Uso wasn’t his “ideal opponent” for the showpiece, earlier this week.

"I didn't think Jey would be my ideal opponent for WrestleMania because we are very different. But then, rethinking it, I think it makes a lot of sense," Gunther said.

"Because I think in WWE right now, I'm the perfect counterpart to everybody who is on his way up, who's like red hot, wants to achieve a certain something. And I think I'm a good party pooper when it comes to that.

"So yeah, at the end, I was happy that he won [the Royal Rumble]. He deserved it, I think, and yeah, I'm glad we started this program out."

Nonetheless, the pair will go toe-to-toe in Las Vegas next weekend, but fans think the result has already been linked after footage of an interview with commentator Pat McAfee and Jey Uso emerged on social media on Saturday (April 12).”

“You will become the world heavyweight champion of the WWE when you beat Gunther at WrestleMania that’s next…” McAfee said when speaking to Uso.

Fans on social media were quick to react with some claiming McAfee had 'leaked' the result.

One said: “He just said he thinks he's going to beat him. How do you think Pat would know the outcome of matches? They don't tell commentators that. They might tell Michael Cole, but that's it. They don't want them to leak it, so they don't tell people the outcome of matches.”

Another added: “You guys realize Pat doesn’t get told s*** right? He purposely doesn’t get told anything so he experiences everything in real time with everyone else.”

While a third explained: "PAT MCAFEE JUST SPOILED THE WRESTLEMANIA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH OUTCOME."
