As his new Christmas movie Red One hits cinemas, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has at last issued a response to rumours regarding his on-set conduct.
The former WWE champion has become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood in recent years, starring in such box office hits as Moana, Baywatch and Fast X.
The 52-year-old's films have grossed more than $12.5 billion worldwide and the muscle-bound megastar has a reputation as one of the most likeable personalities in show business.

But a report from The Wrap earlier this year claimed Johnson's continual lateness had caused Red One, which was originally due for release last year, to suffer major delays. It was said that Johnson was often up to eight hours late for filming.
And in the article, one source claimed the wrestler-turned-movie star has the off-putting habit of peeing in water bottles while on set, rather than use a public bathroom or walk over to his personal trailer.
The anonymous source said: "On set, away from his trailer, if he needs to pee, he doesn’t go to the public bathroom.”

Johnson had remained tight-lipped about the allegations, but in a recent interview with GQ 'The Rock' has finally addressed the claims.
"Yeah, that happens," he admitted when asked about the report claiming he pees in plastic water bottles.
He also confirmed that he is often late to set. "Yeah, that happens too," he said.
But Johnson - who plays the head of security at the North Pole in the movie - was adamant that the extent of his tardiness had been totally overblown.
"But not that amount, by the way," he protested. "That was a bananas amount. That’s crazy. Ridiculous."

Red One director Jake Kasdan also confirmed Johnson's frequent lateness in the piece. But the filmmaker was also quick to praise the wrestling icon's professionalism.
"He has a lot going on," Kasdan said. "He can be late sometimes, but such is Hollywood - that’s the case with everybody.
"Honestly, I’ve made three big movies with him. I’ve never seen him be anything but great to every single person on the set."
