Luke Littler has revealed four Manchester United players have messaged him since he made his debut at the 2024 PDC World Championship.
16-year-old Littler caught the eyes of many darts fans around the country after recording a convincing win on his debut match at the Alexandra Palace.
Since then, the teenager has gone up a level as he thrashed 2018 winner Rob Cross 6-2 to seal his place in Wednesday night’s final.

Standing in Littler’s way will be freshly crowned world number one Luke Humphries, who came through his semi-final against Scott Williams by winning 6-0.
Littler is fast becoming one of the biggest stars in the sport as he has received messages from people that he has looked up to.
Speaking during his press conference, Littler revealed four United stars have reached out to him.

He said: “I’ve got a lot of followers now.
“I got a message off Luke Shaw from Manchester United, Rio Ferdinand and I had a message off Gary Neville and Jonny Evans before my game against Barney, I think.”
Littler added: “It’s just crazy. People who I’ve looked up to and especially my club Manchester United wishing me luck.”

Littler previously revealed that he is a fan of United and Rugby League side Warrington Wolves.
He said: “They sponsored me, Warrington Wolves, they have given me a free season ticket.

“I do watch the games every now and then when I can. It’s the same with Manchester United, I will try to get tickets when I am available.”
Littler continued: “I would love to win any majors and get in touch with them and try to go to one of the stadiums.”
The 2024 PDC World Darts Championship final between Littler and Humphries will take place at the Alexandra Palace, London from 7:30pm on Wednesday night.
