Darting sensation Luke Littler has revealed the message he received from David Beckham after he won the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship.
Littler was up against Dutchman Michael van Gerwen in the final on Friday night inside the Alexander Palace in London.
Although many predicted a close battle between the two players, Littler was in a rampant mood as he thrashed Van Gerwen 7-3 to become world champion for the first time.
The 17-year-old also became the youngest player ever to lift the much coveted Sid Waddell trophy, beating the record held by Van Gerwen, who won his first title at the age of 24.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the final, Littler revealed he received a message from ex-Manchester United and England star Beckham.
The teenager was asked: "A little birdy tells me you got a congratulations message from a certain David Beckham, what did he say to you?"
Littler replied: "Yeah, he said 'wow, well done', and I said 'thank you'."
The reporter then said: "How does that feel? You're young and he was probably an idol of yours growing up as a Manchester United fan, someone you looked up to. Does that sink in that these famous people are watching your journey and praising you for what you're doing?"

Littler responded: "Yeah just goes to show how well I've done for the sport, not only for myself but the other hundreds of professionals out there.
"But just to see the likes of David Beckham watching, it feels crazy."
Reflecting on the final, Littler said: "I can’t believe it, I honestly can’t believe it. We both played so well and I said in my interviews I needed to get off to a quick start and that’s what I done.

"But I knew Michael was behind me the whole game. He was right behind me the whole way through. Everyone dreams of lifting this trophy but you need to get through a tough field, even before qualifying. I can’t believe it."
On Monday, the lineup for this year's Premier League Darts will be revealed, with Littler looking to defend his title.
