Fans of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast have been crying out for the host to bring on one particular guest, and their wish was finally granted this week. But, be careful what you wish for, as the show didn't exactly go to plan.
Rogan has, over the years, hosted some of the biggest names in the world on his show. Love them or hate them, the likes of Elon Musk, Quentin Tarantino, Edward Snowden, and Ben Shapiro have all sat down to talk with the former UFC commentator.
But, his latest guest, Donald Trump, may just be the most influential of them all, and the former US president made sure to get the most out of his appearance on the podcast.
Even those who oppose Trump and his values would likely be pretty keen to hear what he has to say most of the time, so the fact he was taking the time to chat with Rogan presented a big opportunity for American voters or those with a passing curiosity to hear the presidential candidate musing on various topics.

But, while many fans of the show enjoyed Trump's long-awaited appearance, they did have a major complaint: He wouldn't stop talking. Clearly, Rogan was doing his best to control his guest and steer discussion where he wanted, but Trump interrupted numerous times, sometimes not even letting Rogan finish his question before he started talking.
One fan on social media wrote: "Joe is trying to be a journalist allowing Trump to ramble. He's trying to interrupt and ask him things, and Trump is just using this pod as an ad. He's not actually saying anything."
Another added: "This was great! I only wish Trump wouldn't interrupt so much and let Joe finish asking a full question before answering."

One listener really didn't enjoy the experience, saying: "Trump shouldn't interrupt Joe Rogan so much. He's getting off subject and it's turning me off. This podcast feels more like a bickering match. Bummer."
Fans of the Joe Rogan Experience had wanted Trump to take part in the show for a very long time, but it was thought Rogan himself had rejected the idea initially.
Despite the fact the show didn't go as planned, it has still broken the internet as expected, with eight million views in its first eight hours since being released.
