Israel Adesanya's post-fight interview after he lost to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 305 has got fans talking.
Adesanya was defeated in the fourth round of the co-main event in Perth, Australia after Du Plessis applied a rear naked choke and face crank to win via submission.
The Nigerian-born fighter, who fights out of Auckland, New Zealand, had been given a rematch for the UFC Middleweight Championship by UFC president Dana White after he lost the belt to Sean Strickland back in September 2023.

But the 35-year-old was unable to get the job done against Du Plessis, with the defeat being his second in a row after the loss to Strickland last year.
And fans picked up on one thing that he said in his post-fight interview.
Speaking at a press conference, Adesanya said: "I feel like I still made history tonight. I've never lost two in a row!

"I lost my fight in the worst fashion, and I was just like, this is my first time getting submitted. I know the history - wow, amazing. Just keep doing it bro, I'm just f***ing great at this."
While many fans praised Adesanya for his honesty and the way in which he took the defeat, others expressed their concern over his status in the UFC after two consecutive defeats.
One wrote: "Izzy has washed up sadly."

A third summised: "Keep on doing this, and it will get old. But you did put on a hell of a fight and carried yourself very well in defeat."
A fourth said: "I'm not the biggest fan of Izzy tbh but this is pretty honourable to poke some fun at himself after the fight."
And a fifth wrote: "Bro is trying so hard to be likeable and it's working."
