Dricus du Plessis brutally mocks Israel Adesanya for crying during UFC 305 press conference

Dricus du Plessis poked fun at Israel Adesanya after the UFC 305 pre-fight presser.

Dricus du Plessis immediately mocked Israel Adesanya following their heated UFC 305 pre-fight press conference.

Du Plessis and Adesanya clashed at Friday's pre-fight presser ahead of their UFC middleweight championship bout this weekend.

The South African fighter made a comment that struck a chord with Adesanya, who burst into tears as he paid tribute to his family in a hugely emotional moment.

"He touched a subject there because I do this for my family," he said as the former UFC champion teared up.

"I do this for my people I love, and I’ll fight for you forever, I swear to god."

'The Last Stylebender' added: "I am a human being. I am a man. I can cry and whoop you’re a**e at the same time.

"I’m going to f**king kill your dreams, b*tch."

As soon as the UFC 305 presser wrapped up, Du Plessis wasted no time in mocking his rival on social media.

On X, he wrote: "Come on guys stop crying at the press conferences it’s not that serious," with a laughing face emoji.

Du Plessis makes the first defence of his 185lbs title against Adesanya at UFC 305 following his victory over Sean Strickland in January.

'DDP' is unbeaten inside the famed Octagon, having recorded seven straight wins, beating the likes of Darren Till, Derek Brunson and Robert Whittaker.

Adesanya, meanwhile, returns to action for the first time since losing the UFC middleweight title to Strickland at UFC 293 back in September 2023.

He regained the title after stopping Alex Pereira, having lost the title to the Brazilian star.
