Israel Adesanya delivered the coldest line in UFC history when asked for his final message to Dricus du Plessis

A fired up Israel Adesanya had a message for Dricus du Plessis ahead of their UFC 305 showdown.

Israel Adesanya delivered one of the coldest lines in UFC history when asked for his final message to Dricus du Plessis ahead of their title fight.

Adesanya faces Du Plessis for the UFC middleweight title in the main-event of tonight's UFC 305 from Perth, Australia.

The war of words between 'DDP' and 'The Last Stylebender' has dominated the build-up.

The ex-UFC middleweight king burst into tears during Friday's heated pre-fight press conference after clashing with the South African fighter.

And they came head-to-head for the final time ahead of their Octagon showdown at the ceremonial weigh-ins.

Du Plessis weighed in at 185lbs while Adesanya tipped the scales at 184lbs.

After weighing in then facing off against Du Plessis, the Nigerian-born Kiwi star delivered one of the coldest lines in UFC history as his final message to his rival.

Speaking to Jon Anik, Adesanya, who has been out of action since September 2023, exclaimed: "Thank you for being here, I have missed this. I will miss this, but when I aim between your eyes, I will not f**king miss."

Du Plessis said: "Absolutely incredible. I can’t wait. The talk is over, and we saw what happened to the last man who acted like he was pointing a gun at me, he’s called Sean Strickland."

Adesanya is clearly fired up and eager to regain the UFC middleweight championship following his shock defeat to Sean Strickland last year.

He hasn't fought since surrendering the UFC belt as he looks to make a huge comeback.

Du Plessis, meanwhile, aims to make the maiden defence of his UFC middleweight title after becoming champion against Strickland in January.
