Conor McGregor made waves in the combat sports world when he appeared at UFC's rival promotion Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships (BKFC).
He jumped into the ring following the main event between Mike Perry and former UFC middleweight champ Luke Rockhold.
The Irishman strolled in with a BKFC championship over his shoulder and went face-to-face with Platinum Perry.

The confrontation got everyone talking, with people assuming that UFC honcho Dana White would not be happy with his star man building a fight with Perry.
It was a very odd move by the Notorious, but let’s be honest, when you’re in the position McGregor’s in you can get away with quite a lot.
There’s no doubt that it got people talking about a potential in-ring appearance from McGregor in the BKFC.

And although people may be getting ahead of themselves, especially since McGregor is coming up to two years without an appearance in the UFC, there’s certainly an appetite.
Perry, who went 7-8 in the UFC, is keen to make the mega-matchup a reality.
He told TMZ: “Conor, ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor vs. ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry is the only fight to make.
“It is the No. 1 fight in the world. All the fans want it, we’ll throw hands, southpaw vs. orthodox, big power punchers. I’m the better boxer.

“And that’s no disrespect on you, mate. You’ve had an amazing career. You said you’re never retiring. I’m getting a little older myself. I think we’ve come a long way.
“I’ve definitely come a long way. You’ve been at the top. It’s my turn to take over.
“So you could just hand me the keys, or you could let me fight you for them.”
The former UFC welterweight contender took his bare-knuckle boxing record to 3-0 with a win over Rockhold, and is looking like the face of the promotion.

McGregor looked to be extremely complimentary of Perry and the promotion when he stepped into the ring.
However, as the coach for the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter 31 and a return fight with Michael Chandler slated for this year, it’s unlikely he’ll be appearing in anything other than the Octagon anytime soon.
But that hasn’t stopped Perry from trying to build toward the fight.

He continued: “I think I looked a little bit bigger, a little bit tougher. I had a pump going on from the fight I just had. He had his suit on. It was covering up some of his muscles, but we looked very similar in size.
“I know he’s long and rangy. He’s my height-ish, so he’s going to be faster and sharper than Luke was. Can he hit as hard? Can my platinum jaw line take that left hand? I believe it can.
“It’s the same thing that happened to Luke, man. It’s just a matter of time when I close that range on you, and I land those devastating shots.”
