Wolves are reportedly closing in on a sensational swoop for Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati.
Fatu became the second-youngest player to play for the club in 2019 at the age of 16 years and 298 days and would eventually inherit the iconic No.10 shirt from Lionel Messi after he left for Barcelona on a free transfer.
But Fati spent nine months on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury and has been plagued by problems ever since.

Instead, the Portuguese is now trying to convince Fatu and his entourage that a move to Wolves would be beneficial.
The ideal scenario is that he would go there for two seasons and play regularly and hopefully earn a move to one of the Premier League's big dogs.
He would prefer to stay at Barca and is due to sit down with Xavi and discuss his situation, with the club keen to resolve things in the coming weeks.
