Jose Mourinho is preparing a sensational swoop for a Barcelona star after taking the reins at Fenerbahce, reports claim.
Following his dismissal at Roma, Mourinho has returned to management and penned a two-year deal with the Turkish giants.
He will earn £10.2 million per year in Istanbul and takes the job after Fenerbahce finished three points behind champions Galatasaray and only lost one game in last season's Turkish Super Lig.
Fenerbahce have been linked with a whole host of new players after Mourinho's appointment.

And according to Sporx, state that Mourinho is looking to bring in Ansu Fati from Barca.
The Spain international is still only 21 but does not appear to have a future at the Blaugrana.
He broke into the side as a 16-year-old and was tipped to become the next big thing in world football after being handed Lionel Messi's iconic No.10 shirt.
But he began to suffer a string of unfortunate injuries and was sent on loan to Brighton and Hove Albion for the 2023/24 season.

He scored four goals in 27 appearances but his game-time reduced towards the end of the campaign and there was never any suggestion that a permanent deal was on the card.
Fati does have a deal with Barca until 2027 but Barca wish to offload him and do have a number of interested parties.
Fener's sporting director Mario Branco has reportedly been in touch with both Fati and his agent Jorge Mendes, as well as enquiring with Barca's Deco about a potential deal.

It would likely be a loan deal rather than a permanent switch and La Liga side Sevilla are also keen.
They are reportedly prepared to cover 30% of his salary in a loan with the option to buy.
Fati, meanwhile, has still not given up on impressing new manager Hansi Flick in pre-season.
