Manchester United have reportedly rejected a first offer for Marcus Rashford with fans fuming over the terms put on the table by the interested club.
Earlier in the week, Rashford made headlines after he confirmed during an interview with journalist Henry Winter that he was "ready for a new challenge and the next steps".
The comments came after Ruben Amorim omitted Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho for United's win over rivals Manchester City.

While Garnacho made a return to the matchday squad for their Carabao Cup defeat by Tottenham Hotspur, Rashford was nowhere to be seen.
With the January transfer window just weeks away, Rashford will be heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
Now, it has been claimed that La Liga giants Barcelona have made a move to sign Rashford.

As reported by Football Transfers, Barcelona have approached United with a deal to sign Rashford on loan with an option to buy for £35 million.
It has been suggested that United are not willing to let the 27-year-old leave for that price and have told the player of Barcelona's interest.
Rashford is said to be tempted by a move to Catalonia as he would like to test himself in a new league, a different country and culture.
Reacting on social media, fans were less than impress with Barcelona's apparent opening offer.

One fan said: "Cheeky from Barca, I’d want a loan fee and full wages covered."
Another tweeted: "Can’t stand Barcelona because they never want to pay for anyone."
A third fan added: "You want him you pay for him."

Speaking about Rashford this week, United boss Amorim said: "We are better with Marcus Rashford, that is simple and we will try different things to push Marcus to the best levels he showed in the past.
"This kind of club needs big talent and he’s a big talent, so he just needs to perform at the highest level... I just want to help Marcus. He is right. We have here a new challenge, the biggest in football, we are in a difficult situation. I hope all my players are ready."
United are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
