Marcus Rashford has already dropped major hint about his next club after making shock Man Utd admission

Marcus Rashford has dropped a major bombshell on his Manchester United future.

Marcus Rashford may have dropped a hint about his next club after making a huge admission on his Manchester United future.

Rashford made headlines on Sunday afternoon after he was left out of Ruben Amorim's squad for the derby against Manchester City.

Argentine forward Alejandro Garnacho was also not selected as United came away 2-1 winners thanks to late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo.

On Tuesday evening, it was revealed that Rashford had dropped a major bombshell on his United future.

The 27-year-old said during an interview with Henry Winter: "For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.

"If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me."

He has been linked with a host of different clubs throughout the years, including the likes of Arsenal, Paris Saint Germain and Al Ittihad.

Rashford went on to say: "I’m halfway through my career. I don’t expect my peak to be now. I’ve had nine years so far in the Premier League and that’s taught me a lot, that’s helped me grow as a player and as a person.

"So I don’t have any regrets from the last nine years. I won’t have any regrets going forward because I take things day by day and sometimes bad things happen, sometimes good things happen. I just try and keep a fine balance."

From that quote, one could assume that Rashford could be hinting at a move away from the Premier League, having already spent nine years in the English top flight and stating that he fancies a new challenge.

However, it remains to be seen whether United will decide to cash in on Rashford next month or wait until the end of the 24/25 season.

United boss Amorim is bound to be asked about Rashford when he faces the media on Wednesday morning ahead of the Red Devils' Carabao Cup clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
