The real reason why Marcus Rashford was sent home from Manchester United training has emerged following his stunning interview about his future.
Rashford gave a bombshell interview on Monday about his Man United career, having been dropped from Ruben Amorim's squad for their Premier League fixture against Manchester City, which they won 2-1.
Amid reports claiming Man United are open to offers when the transfer window reopens, the star forward said he is 'ready for a new challenge' as he delivered a revealing interview.
Speaking to Henry Winter, Rashford said: "If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person.

"When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me.
"When I leave it's going to be 'no hard feelings'. You're not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That's me as a person.
"For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps."

Before speaking out about his future, Rashford returned to first-team training, but he was sent home early.
According to Mike Keegan of The Daily Mail, the 27-year-old was sick and was deemed to have a 'high temperature' and left the complex.
Club policy is that those who are unwell should attend Carrington where they will be assessed by a doctor.
Rashford, however, was at his old primary school the following day, where he handed out presents to children.

His future has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with odds slashed on his next club.
This season, he has played 24 games in all competitions, scoring seven goals.
He has struggled for form since his 30-goal haul in the 2022/23 campaign.
