With every passing day, a reunion between Viktor Gyokeres and Ruben Amorim seems more and more likely – and a new report has emerged that suggests it could happen this summer.
Gyokeres, who has scored 29 goals in 25 games for Primeira Liga leaders Sporting CP this season, has already made up his mind on which club he wants to join in the future, according to reports.
So far, the likes of Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona have been linked alongside Arsenal, who appear to be in the market to sign a new striker in January following an ACL injury to Gabriel Jesus.

But for some time, the favourites to sign Gyokores have been Manchester United.
In fact, back in November, it was reported that Gyokeres wants a move to Old Trafford, according to The Sun, who claim he has 'his heart set' on a move to the Premier League and a reunion with Amorim.
Two months on and another report has reiterated United's intent. The Independent suggest United are 'hopeful' of fending off interest from elsewhere to secure a deal for Gyokeres in the summer.

Once again, Arsenal have been mentioned after they 'raised the striker in discussions' amid ongoing issues in forward areas.
Gyokeres, meanwhile, 'would love to work with Ruben Amorim again' as he looks to take his career to another level after such an impressive spell at Sporting.
The 26-year-old has yet to publicly name a club that would take his fancy but last month, he gave a telling interview after being awarded the Guldbollen – an award given to the best male Swedish player in Europe.
"I don’t play in the Premier League like others do, but I have done the best I can where I am," he told Marca. "I also showed it in Europe, in the Champions League and with the national team, so it was not just in Portugal."

Asked about his future, Gyokeres refused to rule out a move. "We will see," he added. "There are many rumours circulating, but we are in the middle of the season and there are still many months left. We will see when the time comes what will happen."
The Swede was also asked where he sees himself playing in four years time, at 30. He replied: "Playing for one of the best teams in Europe. That is the objective."
