Viktor Gyokeres’ 'price tag' has been revealed after reports suggested he has chosen the club he wants to join this summer.
Gyokeres, 26, is one of the most in-form strikers in Europe having scored 34 goals in 33 games for Sporting in the 2024/25 campaign.
As a result of his impressive performances, he has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League after previously playing for Brighton between 2018 and 2021 - although he did not make a league appearance.

However, he has proved his worth in English football, having scored 43 goals in 116 appearances for second-tier Coventry City between 2021 and 2023, with his performances earning him a move to Sporting.
Several clubs - including Arsenal – have been linked with a potential move for the Sweden international but reports suggest he has ‘chosen Man United’ as the club he wants to join.
Of course, Ruben Amorim, 40, was Gyokeres’ manager at Sporting before he became United boss in November 2024.

The Portuguese gave his thoughts on the potential move when speaking on TNT Sports earlier this season.
"I can’t make fun of it, right now, it was hard for me to leave, if I start joking about this Gyokeres situation I’ll get in trouble," Amorim said. "This is my city, this is my country, so I’ll respect it."
"Viktor has to stay until the end of the season, and then his life maybe is going somewhere else,” he added.
Gyokeres’ current Sporting contract is set to run until the summer of 2028 and he is valued at €75m (£62.3m) by Transfermarkt.

According to the i paper, United’s refusal to “pay over the odds” has strengthened their PSR position with the club focusing on long-term targets.
Marcus Rashford’s loan to Aston Villa includes a reported £40m option to buy clause.
And by waiting until the summer some of the cash received from a potential sale of Rashford, 27, could go towards signing Gyokeres.

The i’s report suggests that Sporting are “willing” to part ways with their forward for around £60m - around £23m less than the amount it would have taken in the winter window.
