A surprise Premier League side attempted to make the biggest signing of the season and bring Real Madrid superstar Endrick to England.
After an exciting month of transfer news and speculation, the January window is now officially shut, meaning clubs will now have to wait until the summer to bring any new signings in to the squads.
Several Premier League clubs made massive moves across the month, including Aston Villa, who signed Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, and Manchester City who signed five new players, including talented forward Omar Marmoush.

However, it has now been revealed that another surprise club attempted to pull off a move for Real Madrid star Endrick in what would have undoubtedly been the biggest transfer of the season.
After officially joining Real Madrid in July 2024 following his 18th birthday, Endrick has massively impressed fans, with many suggesting he could be the next big thing in a team full of superstars like Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe.
Despite making only 21 appearances for the La Liga giants, the Brazilian youngster has shown promise and is expected to improve and establish himself as a regular starter as gets older and grows in confidence.

And it appears that Real Madrid aren't the only major club who have been impressed, as a new report from TBR Football has claimed that West Ham United attempted to sign Endrick in a shock transfer deal last month.
Club officials are said to have made their interest known to both Real Madrid and to Endrick's representatives but were quickly shot down by both parties.
Madrid reportedly told West Ham that they had no interest in allowing the Brazilian to leave the club under any circumstances, while Endrick made it very clear that he intended to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu for the foreseeable future.

Several clubs in the English top flight were supposedly interested in the talented youngster, but it is not yet known if any other team attempted to make a move last month.
West Ham United then turned their attention to former Aston Villa star Jhon Duran but missed out as the 21-year-old instead made a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
Instead, the Hammers had to wait until deadline day to bring a new forward to the club, as new manager Graham Potter was reunited with his former Brighton star Evan Ferguson, who joined the London side on loan for the rest of the season.
