Jamie Carragher has revealed the shocking thing AC Milan did in the dressing room after losing the Champions League final to Liverpool in devastating fashion.
AC Milan surrendered a three-goal lead to Liverpool in the 2005 Champions League final.
Second-half goals from Steven Gerrard, Vladimir Smicer and Xabi Alonso drew Liverpool level with Milan, before going onto win the Istanbul showdown on penalties (3-2).

Liverpool's remarkable feat is still one of the most legendary moments in Champions League history.
Carragher, who played the entire game, has recalled the aftermath of their victory, revealing what the Milan team did in the dressing room after losing the final.
He claims the Milan team left all their belongings in the dressing room, with the Liverpool squad making the most of the situation.

According to Carragher, he was given a Paolo Maldini shirt - with Gerrard also getting his hands on one.
Asked if he still has his shirt from the famous fixture, the Reds legend told Tops of The Kop: "Yes. The club have got that now. So, what I did... I didn't swap - I ended up getting a hold of Maldini's shirt.
"Stevie's got one as well."
He added: "They left everything in the dressing room. Medals, kits and everything. So, basically everyone was just in there getting stuff... someone said to me 'do you want Maldini's shirt?'

"I've still got Maldini's shirt, and the club have got mine."
In 2023, Maldini joined Carragher on CBS Sports, where the former defenders reminisced on their encounters, which includes two Champions League finals.
"We played against each other in two Champions League finals, that was a huge honour for me being a defender who looked up to yourself and Franco Baresi," Carragher told Maldini.

"But I just wanted to let you know that I have your shirt from the final in 2005. It is a huge honour for me to have that shirt, you don’t want it back, no?"
