The Premier League’s top ten best-performing players have been named and ranked with some surprise inclusions.

Arsenal currently sit top of the table on goal difference after second-placed Liverpool rescued a draw at home to third-placed Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.

City trail their rivals by just one point with ten games remaining and welcome Arsenal to the Etihad Stadium after the international break on March 31. Liverpool also have a tough set of fixtures with a trip to Old Trafford scheduled for April 7.
Given their form this season, it’s no surprise to see Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal players dominate the highest-performing players list.
Rodri is ranked at no.1 with an average rating of 8.0 according to FootballCritic, having played in 25 of 28 games for Pep Guardiola’s side this season.

The Spanish international is widely regarded as the best defensive midfielder in the world and his importance to City’s team is ever-growing.
Nine players make up the top ten with an identical average rating of 7.4.
Liverpool are represented in the top ten by their two talisman Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah. Van Dijk has been back to his brilliant best this season while Salah has netted 15 goals in Jurgen Klopp’s final season at the helm.

Mikel Arteta’s summer signing of Declan Rice has proven to be a masterstroke, adding a new dynamic to the Gunners’ midfield. Bukayo Saka joins his teammate in the top 10.
