Carlo Ancelotti left everybody guessing after being quizzed on his Real Madrid future on the back of the club's Champions League exit.
Los Blancos saw their Champions League dream go up in smoke inside the Bernabeu on Wednesday night as they produced yet another poor performance against Arsenal.
Already leading 3-0 from the first leg, the Gunners secured a 2-1 victory thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. Vinicius Jr gave the crowd some hope but it was ultimately not enough.
On the back of the match, the pressure instantly mounted on Madrid boss Ancelotti, who now faces an uncertain future after failing to defend the team's European crown.

During his post-match press conference, Ancelotti was asked whether he will be the Madrid boss when the FIFA Club World Cup begins on June 15.
The Italian replied: "My future? I don’t know, and I don’t want to know.
"We've come a fantastic way over the years. Let's see what happens next year. I don't know what's going to happen and I don't want to know. There is time for this."
When asked whether he still feels he is the right man to lead Madrid forward, Ancelotti said: "I haven’t thought about that."

Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois backed Ancelotti when speaking about the 65-year-old after the game.
The Belgian said: "There's no problem there, we have no doubts about the manager. It's up to us on the pitch to do what he asks of us."

With Ancelotti's future uncertain, the likes of Xabi Alonso, Jurgen Klopp, Andoni Iraola and Zinedine Zidane have all been linked with a move to the Bernabeu.

Madrid will now have to switch their focus back to domestic football as they look to chase down Barcelona in the race to become La Liga champions.
Ancelotti's side currently sit second, four points behind Barcelona with seven matches left to play.
Meanwhile, the two La Liga powerhouses will meet in the Copa del Rey final later in the month.
Madrid will return to action this weekend when they take on Athletic Club on Sunday night.
