Manchester United are reportedly in talks with Mauro Icardi's wife Wanda over a potential deal for the Paris Saint-Germain striker.
United are in the market for a new forward as the uncertainty surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's future continues.
The Red Devils had been in talks to sign Marko Arnautovic from Bologna but pulled out of negotiations after having a £7.2m bid rejected by the Italian club.
After seeing another transfer target, Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko, agree to join RB Leipzig next summer, United have now turned their attention to Argentina international Icardi.

Argentine outlet TyC Sports claim that Icardi's wife Wanda, who is also his agent, has been contacted by the Red Devils regarding a potential move.
Icardi first joined PSG from Inter Milan in 2019, initially on a loan deal before making the move permanent the following year.
But he has failed to make a significant impact at the Parc des Princes and finds himself on the fringes of the squad this season under new manager Christophe Galtier.

Icardi was left out of the matchday squad for PSG's opening game of the new Ligue 1 season against Clermont Foot last weekend.
And Galtier has admitted the striker is likely to leave the club this summer along with Arnaud Kalimuendo.
"We will sign a new striker, as we're looking to find a solution for Mauro Icardi and also Kalimuendo will join Rennes," said Galtier, amid reports PSG are lining up a shock move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
Icardi has also been linked with newly-promoted Serie A side Monza.

But a bid has so far failed to materialise for the 29-year-old.
Meanwhile, United boss Erik ten Hag has ruled out Rashford leaving United, even as part of a potential swap deal involving Icardi.
Addressing the reports linking the England international with a move to France, Ten Hag said: "He is really important.

"You have seen from the first day I'm in [the club], I've been really pleased [with him].
"Definitely, I don't want to lose him. He's in our plans and he will stay at Manchester United."
