Manchester United are interested in signing Everton goalkeeper Asmir Begovic as Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his squad.
The Red Devils have signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez in the summer transfer window but are desperate to add more.

Per the Telegraph, Bosnia and Herzegovina international Begovic is being targeted as a backup for David de Gea but Toffees manager Frank Lampard wants to keep him at Goodison Park.
United allowed Dean Henderson to join Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan last month and Tom Heaton is seen as third-choice.
Begovic's contract expires in 2023 and United would need Everton to find a replacement before commencing talks.

The 35-year-old spent five years with Stoke City before moving to Chelsea in 2015, serving as backup to Thibaut Courtois.
He also spent six months as Gianluigi Donnarumma's understudy at AC Milan in 2020.
After a solid season for Bournemouth in the Championship, he moved to Everton in 2021 to play understudy to Jordan Pickford.
Begovic came through Portsmouth's academy and would count as a homegrown player as a result.

De Gea has kept his place under ten Hag, despite many questioning his ability with the ball at his feet.
The 31-year-old made two huge errors in United's 4-0 defeat to Brentford last weekend.
He allowed Josh Dasilva's speculative effort to squirm from his grasp and he played teammate Eriksen into trouble seconds before the second goal.

Ten Hag defended the Spain international in his post-match interview and urged supporters to give de Gea time.
"I am convinced that he can do it," he explained.
"And it's obvious the second goal, okay (he was at fault). He showed already I have seen in training and in the first games that he can do that."

De Gea asked to speak to Sky Sports after his errors and admitted: "I think I cost my team two points. It was a poor performance from me. I think so. That can happen in football.
"We should react better but I should have saved the first shot. If I had the first result might be different. Maybe I have to read the game better and kick it long. We always try to play we always try to have the ball.
"We are not like other teams. We see teams concede a goal and then win 5-1. For us I made a mistake and it may have changed the result."
Borussia Monchengladbach stalwart Yann Sommer has been considered, but the Bundesliga outfit are determined to fend off any interest.
