Italian outlet Calciomercato is claiming that Liverpool have placed three players on the transfer list ahead of the January transfer window.
Liverpool have a number of players out of contract this summer, with five first team players, as per Transfermarkt, allowed to leave for free if their deals are not renewed.
Arthur Melo, meanwhile, is on loan at the club until the end of the season. The Reds do have an option to make that deal permanent, but the Brazilian midfielder is currently on the sidelines with a hamstring injury suffered in training.

Jurgen Klopp's side have struggled in the Premier League so far this term, and sit ninth going into this weekend's fixtures.
That is in contrast to their form in Europe, where, despite a disappointing 4-1 defeat to Napoli on matchweek one, the Reds have recovered to win five consecutive Champions League matches.
With two league matches to go until the World Cup, Liverpool are eight points off the top four, meaning they are guaranteed to be outside the Champions League qualification places at Christmas.

The Reds have been linked with signing reinforcements in January to bolster their squad. And speaking before the 1-0 win over Man City last month, Klopp admitted that Liverpool cannot compete with Pep Guardiola's side in the transfer market.
Therefore, the club may need to move on a number of players, either on permanent or loan deals, to make that happen.
And reports in Italy have sensationally claimed that the Reds have placed three players on the transfer list.
Liverpool reportedly put three players on transfer list
Calciomercato report that Liverpool trio Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Nathaniel Phillips have all been put on the transfer list ahead of the transfer window.

Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain are two of the five players who are out of contract this summer, should Liverpool choose not to renew them.
Keita is yet to feature for Liverpool this term through injury, whilst Oxlade-Chamberlain has recently returned from a serious hamstring problem suffered in pre-season.

Phillips, meanwhile, is fondly remembered amongst Reds fans for the part he played in the 2020/21 season.
With centre-backs Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip all missing the majority of the season through injury, Phillips stepped up and helped Klopp's side finish in third place in the Premier League.
He made 17 appearances, scoring once - a crucial contribution for the injury-hit Reds.
This season, however, the 25-year-old has largely remained on the bench.

The 62 minutes he played against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on August 15 represents his only appearance in any competition this season.
