A reputable journalist has dropped a major update on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool future.
The postmortem for Germany’s disastrous World Cup campaign has begun, with manager Hansi Flick’s future hanging in the balance.
Flick had been appointed to shut down the mistakes made in the latter years of his predecessor, Joachim Low’s reign.

Upon being knocked out of Euro 2020 at the round-of-16 stage, Die Mannschaft attempted to rejig their side, become more creative on the ball, convert more chances into goals, and become better defensively. With brimming anticipation among the public, the German FA brought in Flick, Bayern Munich’s treble-winning manager, to take on the task at hand.
However, the same problems reared their ugly head in Qatar as Germany were subjected to a second consecutive World Cup group stage exit.
The German FA has since parted ways with technical director Oliver Bierhoff and SportBild claim the Flick could follow him out of the door. The Germany boss attended a DFB crisis meeting yesterday.
If Flick were to depart, the names tipped to replace him are former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and Liverpool’s Klopp.
Jurgen Klopp to Germany?
It’s been all change at Liverpool this term. Club owners Fenway Sports Group have reportedly put the club up for sale, while the Reds' sporting director Julian Ward announced he will leave his post at the end of the season.

Despite recent stuttering on-field performances, Klopp is one of the few sources of stability at the club.
In turn, Reds fans will be relieved to read that Bild’s Christian Falk, who was first to report Thiago Alcantara’s 2020 move to Merseyside – has tweeted that Klopp has no interest in succeeding Flick.
Christian Falk said: “True. Thomas Tuchel would be interested in the job: Bundestrainer @DFB_Team. Jurgen Klopp is not.”
The red side of Merseyside will welcome the news. While Liverpool have been in abysmal form this term and are currently seven points adrift of the Champions League spots, Klopp will likely be central to any rebuild.
