Jurgen Klopp drops hint over his next role after leaving Liverpool as £6m investment made

Jurgen Klopp drops hint over his next role after leaving Liverpool as £6m investment made

Jurgen Klopp is having a break from football after stepping down from Liverpool at the end of last season.

Jurgen Klopp looks to have dropped a hint over his next role after making a £6 million purchase.

After nine years in charge of Liverpool, Klopp stepped down from his position having started to run out of energy.

During his time at Anfield, he won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Klopp announced his decision in January and signed off with a second Carabao Cup win, before taking charge of his final game against Wolves in May.

The 57-year-old has been enjoying his time off, spending time at both the Olympics and Paralympics.

He did return to the Borussia Dortmund dugout for Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski's testimonial last weekend but there is plenty of curiosity as to what his next permanent gig will be.

But Klopp may well have dropped a hint about his future. According to The Sun, the former Mainz boss has splashed out on a new mansion in an area which is seen as Germany's version of 'Beverly Hills'.

He and Ulla are moving to be closer to family, while they are also not too far from Mainz - where he played and coached.

German pop star Helene Fischer, likened to Britney Spears, is said to be one of Klopp's new neighbours in what is being called "the No 1 celebrity street in Germany".

The report adds that the house will be soundproofed, allowing Klopp, a huge heavy metal fan, to blast out his tunes.

Klopp being back in Germany will undoubtedly increase speculation about the possibility of the German national team job being his next job in the near future.

He has been heavily linked with the position, currently occupied by Julian Nagelsmann, as well as a number of other rules within German football.
