Fans have been sharing their experience of being on the waiting list for season tickets, after one Liverpool supporter revealed how long he's been waiting.
There's nothing quite like getting to see your team play live, well as long as they aren't getting smashed by the opposition, it probably wasn't a great night in Manchester for RB Leipzig fans, for example.
Some have the delight or, depending where your side is in the league, the horror of watching them at home every two weeks, with a season ticket.

From August, Liverpool fans are going to have to pay more for the privilege of watching all 19 games at Anfield in the next campaign, after several years of price freezes.
The decision to up prices hasn't gone down well at all, although they're not the only ones, with Manchester United and Arsenal doing the same.
However, it could help one fan, who revealed that he hasn't been able to get himself a ticket at Anfield for over 30 years, despite being on the waiting list the whole time.

Replying to a post about the extra seats at Anfield that were coming with the latest expansion, Twitter user Paul Green showed hope he would be able to get a ticket.
When asked how long he'd been waiting, Green said that he'd been on the list since 1991, making it nearly 32 years without being able to get one.
Other fans were sharing similar stories of how long they'd been twiddling their thumbs to get to see Jurgen Klopp's side on a weekly basis.

"My dad put me on the list when i was born back in 2000, still not got one. Proper joke," said another supporter.
Giving the original poster some hope, another added, "My dad got one last season and he was on it since 1990."
Starting 10 years later gave a third no hope, with another replying, "I’ve been on it since 2001 and I’m 20k on the waiting list. No chance in my lifetime of getting one."
A fourth is hoping that current holders aren't going to pass them down to the next generation, posting, "All the season ticket holders will be gone in 10 years, to be fair, so hopefully they don't pass them down and the whole waiting list gets moved up."

A slightly weird take to hope that you won't get new fans coming to games, but if it helps you get to the games then I suppose it's fine...
However, one final supporter reckons it's not true at all, responding, "There’s no way he’s been on since 91 and hasn’t had the opportunity to have one. Tickets were rife up until Istanbul and that’s when it changed.
"Season ticket waiting list is real and has been for about 20 years. But not having that he’s been waiting 32 years."
There's only back up goalkeeper Adrian, captain Jordan Henderson and old man James Milner who are guaranteed to have been alive when Green was first on the waiting list.

He'll be hoping to see more results like the 7-0 win over rivals United if he does get to go in the near future.
