Inaki Williams will be missing for Athletic Club for the first time in 252 La Liga games, with his ridiculous record coming to an end.
Williams has been one of Athletic's best players for the past few years and he has become absolutely integral to the team during that time.
He has been on absolutely superhuman run of appearing in every La Liga game for them since April 7th 2016, when they took on Malaga.

Earlier this season, it looked like the run was going to end at 236 games, after he went off injured in a Monday night game, only to appear in his 237th match in-a-row just six days later.
On Thursday evening, Williams set up two goals for his side, in the Copa del Rey quarter final game against Valencia, which they won.
The 28-year-old was substituted in the second half and just three days later he hasn't been able to make the squad for the game with Celta Vigo.

Having not even made the bench, it confirms that his incredible record will come to an end, after playing a part in every league game for the past six full calendar years.
Striker Gorka Guruzeta will make just his fifth La Liga start of the campaign instead, with Inaki's younger brother Nico starting in a wide position.
Williams' absence was confirmed by the club as being down to injury, although it wasn't confirmed if he'll miss any further games for the club.

One fan really put into perspective how long it had been since the older Williams had missed a game, saying, "The last time Iñaki Williams missed a league game, Barack Obama was US President, Spain were reigning European champions and Real Madrid only had 10 European Cups."
Both France and Italy have won the Euros since then, Donald Trump and now Joe Biden have won elections to be US President and Real have won four more Champions League titles.
Last January, the Ghana international showed tremendous leadership and his desire to protest his brother, after Nico nearly had his legs broken.
The younger Williams, who plays for the Spain national side, was taken out by horror challenge from Osasuna striker Chimy Avila.

Inaki ran over to rushed over to deal with Athletic's opponent, who was lucky to somehow escape from a straight red card, but did leave the pitch with a second yellow.
